Kisa Walker

Special Education Teacher at Spectrum Academy

Kisa Walker has a diverse work experience. Kisa started their career as a Clerk at Freeze Frame Video in 1997 and worked there until 2004. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a Direct Support Professional at SWRC, where they supported adults with disabilities in their daily activities. In 2014, they worked as an Instructional Assistant for Peoria Unified School District, providing behavior support and tutoring to students with autism. Additionally, they worked as an Instructional Assistant at Dysart School District from March 2014 to August 2014, assisting a student with physical disabilities. Kisa also worked as a Teacher/Director Designee at Little Sunbeams Preschool from September 2014 to January 2015. Since 2011, they have been a student at GCU, and in 2018, they started working as a Special Education Teacher at Spectrum Academy.

Kisa Walker attended Western Wyoming Community College from 2001 to 2003, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. From 2011 to 2016, they attended Grand Canyon University, where they earned a B.S. in Elementary/Special Education with a focus on Special Education and Teaching.
