Swapnil Chavan

Swapnil Chavan has a diverse work experience in mechanical engineering roles. Starting in 2018, they worked at Spectrum Lighting, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer. In this role, they designed mechanical aspects of lighting fixtures, conducted thermal failure mode testing, and diagnosed product failures. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2015, they worked at Seinumero Nirman Pvt. Ltd. as a Mechanical Engineer. During this time, they designed a special purpose machine, a fixture for it, and wrote a PLC program for the machine. Additionally, they had internships at Seinumero Nirman Pvt. Ltd. as a Design Engineer Intern in 2014, at Proto-D Engineering as a Design Engineer in 2014, and at Super Surface Tools Company as a Manufacturing Intern in 2011-2012.

Swapnil Chavan began their education in 2009 at Mahatma Education Society Pillai's Institute of Info. Tech.and Media Studies, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2014. Swapnil then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Northeastern University from 2015 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Swapnil Chavan has obtained additional certifications. In April 2012, they received a Master Diploma in Product Design and Analysis from CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd. Swapnil also obtained a SOLIDWORKS Professional Certificate for Mechanical Design from Dassault Systèmes in April 2017.
