Vipul Patel

Vipul Patel has extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Advanced Video Engineering at Charter Communications since April 2017, where responsibilities include leading architecture and engineering for an IP streaming platform, video advertising, and content protection. Prior to this role, Vipul Patel held various positions at Time Warner Cable, including Chief Architect for Cross Platform Applications and Senior Director of the Interactive Apps platform, and worked as an independent consultant focused on interactive applications. Additional roles include Director of ITV Applications at Liberate Technologies, Senior Director of Engineering at MoreCom, and software engineering positions at General Instruments and Network Programs. Vipul Patel holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara, India.
