Chase Sheeley has a diverse background in engineering and research. In 2017, they began their professional journey as an intern at General Dynamics Electric Boat, where they gained experience in materials engineering. Chase continued their internship with the company in 2018.
In 2017, Chase also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at HueyAFM Labs, where they focused on Atomic Force Microscopy and conducted topographical analysis of various objects.
In 2018, Chase joined Jacobs Vehicle Systems as a Metallurgical Engineer before transitioning to the role of Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut in 2019. At UConn, they worked on research projects as part of their graduate studies.
Chase then joined Collins Aerospace in 2021 as a Manufacturing Engineer II, where they worked until 2023. Chase'sresponsibilities in this role included contributing to manufacturing processes.
Most recently, Chase joined SPEE3D in 2023 as an Additive Manufacturing Research Engineer, where they apply their expertise in additive manufacturing technology to research and development projects.
Chase Sheeley completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Connecticut between the years 2015 and 2019. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Materials Science & Engineering from the same institution from 2019 to 2021.
