Marcin Szymor

Marcin Szymor has worked in various roles since 2012. Marcin began their career as an IT Support at Smart Office (UK) Ltd in 2012. In 2013, they became a Software Test Engineer Intern at Citrix. Marcin then worked as a Software Test Engineer and Cloud Operations Engineer at Citrix from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they moved to Speechmatics, where they currently work as a Sales Engineer.

Marcin Szymor attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer and Information Security. Prior to that they attended The Sheffield College from 2010 to 2011, studying Computing. Marcin has also obtained several certifications, including MS: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions (70-533) from Microsoft in December 2014, ISTQB/ISEB - Certified Software Tester (Intermediate) from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in November 2014, ISTQB/ISEB - Certified Software Tester (Foundation) from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in October 2014, VMware Certified Associate – Data Center Virtualization (VCA-DCV) from VMware in October 2014, and MS: Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System Center from Microsoft in June 2014.
