Allison Baird

Allison Baird is an experienced speech-language pathologist with a robust career spanning over four decades. Currently serving as President and Senior Therapist at Speechworks Inc since January 1996, Allison specializes in post-stroke communication impairments and dementia, while also holding roles as a business owner, supervisor for provincial and national organizations, and trainer. Prior to this, Allison worked as the sole therapist for adults in the Thompson BRHA from 2008 to 2011. At St. Boniface Hospital, from April 1984 to October 2002, Allison held the position of Director/Senior, focusing on program planning and development of policies and procedures. Allison holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brandon University.
