Jay Gray is a seasoned technical director with extensive experience in engineering and operations within the maritime sector, currently serving at Speedcast since January 2017. With a strong background in client relationships, business development, and project delivery, Jay leads transformation initiatives while also architecting solutions for commercial maritime applications. Prior to this, Jay held leadership roles in the EMEA region, managing engineering teams for both Speedcast and its predecessor, Harris CapRock Communications, where responsibilities included technical solutions and client management. Jay's career also includes roles as an infrastructure engineer at Schlumberger and Data Marine Systems, where troubleshooting and client support were key focus areas. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Computing from Robert Gordon University.
