John Slaughter

John Slaughter has a diverse work experience in the software systems, engineering, and telecommunications industries. John currently holds the position of Senior Lead Engineer Software Systems at Speedcast, where they have been working since 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Systems Engineer and Senior Engineer in the Mobile Satellite Service division at Speedcast. Between 2014 and 2018, John worked as an Engineer IV at Globecomm Systems Inc. John also held positions as Director of Operations and Director of Networks at Maritime Broadband in 2014. From 2008 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Support Engineer at Globecomm Systems Inc. John started their career in 2001 at Nokia, where they interned as a Field Test Engineer and Systems Administrator. Throughout their career, John has gained valuable experience in various engineering and software systems roles.

John Slaughter attended Northwood University from 2000 to 2004, and the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2000. John did not complete a degree at either institution.
