Terry Babin

Terry Babin has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Terry began their career in 1992 at Mackay Marine as the Manager of Project Engineering, where they successfully managed the Engineering Department and served as the Technical Lead for various global projects. In 2013, they joined Harris CapRock Communications as a Senior Systems Engineer, responsible for designing Telecommunication and Navigation System Packages for vessels and offshore platforms. Following the acquisition of Harris CapRock by Speedcast in 2017, Terry continued their role as the Global Manager of Systems Integration, leading a team of engineers, project managers, coordinators, and draftsmen in designing and delivering integrated telecommunications systems for various industries. Terry later assumed the positions of Global Director of Systems Integration and Vice President of Global Systems Integration at Speedcast. Throughout their career, Terry has gained expertise in various systems such as Satcom, Microwave, Radio, Public Address Systems, CCTV systems, Entertainment Television, PABX, VoIP Telephone systems, Access Control Systems, ECDIS, Radar, and Collision Avoidance systems.

Terry Babin attended RETS Institute of Technology from 1982 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician.
