Ralf Koering is an experienced professional in the aluminum recycling and metals industry, currently serving as the Head of BU Recycling Services and Managing Director at Speira since April 2023. Previously, Ralf held the position of Director Commercial at Real Alloy Europe from March 2015 to December 2023, where responsibilities included procurement of aluminum raw materials, supply chain organization, sales of alloys and services, and management of the metal management team. Prior to Real Alloy, Ralf was the Commercial Director for Wrought Alloys at Aleris Recycling (German Works) GmbH from November 2008 to February 2015, focusing on procurement and sales of wrought alloys and planning material flows. Ralf began a career in VAW-IMCO GmbH, progressing from Production Manager to Werkleiter from 1994 to 2008. Ralf holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Process Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, obtained between 1988 and 1994.
