Amit R.

Amit R. has over 10 years of experience in the tech industry. In 2009, they served as an Executive Board Member for the SJSU Management Information Systems Association. In 2010, they worked as a Systems Administrator II / Google Operations at Genentech. From 2011 to 2013, Amit R. worked as a Systems Engineer at Thomson Reuters, where they installed, configured, and maintained new hardware, maintained and upgraded Linux servers, worked closely with different teams to set-up server and application monitoring, and independently managed and implemented a new backup solution. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at Cisco as a Cloud Infrastructure Team Lead, Manager of Infrastructure Operations, and Senior Systems Administrator of Infrastructure Ops. In 2018, they became a Lead Site Reliability Engineer at WhiteHat DAST by Synopsys, where they were responsible for cloud and on-prem deployments. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Splunk as a Lead Site Reliability Engineer and Senior Site Reliability Engineer. Currently, Amit R. is a Manager of Site Reliability Engineering at Spekit.

Amit R. graduated with honors from San Jose State University in 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems (MIS). In March 2020, they obtained a Google Cloud Platform Certification from ROI Training.
