Bilal Sheikh

Bilal Sheikh has been working in the software quality assurance (SQA) field since 2013. Bilal began their career as an Intern Software Engineer at trg | tech, where they were responsible for generating daily client reports, importing and exporting data on excel files, and designing the architecture of a new project's database. Bilal then joined eDev Tech in 2013 as a Junior SQA Engineer, where they reviewed requirements and performed gap analysis, mapped business requirements to test scenarios, and maintained traceability to ensure efficient test coverage. Bilal was later promoted to Senior SQA Engineer/SQA Lead, where they managed resources and test planning, provided support to other team members, and followed the Scrum process. In 2017, they joined VentureDive as a Manager SQA and Software Quality Assurance Lead. In this role, they worked with a global team of QA's from different countries, managed the team of QA Members, tested estimations on required efforts, and was an expert in mobile testing, debugging core issues, and database and API testing. Currently, they are employed at Spekit as Director SQA and Manager SQA.

Bilal Sheikh has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Computer Science & Information Technology (BCIT) from NED University of Engineering and Technology, which they obtained between 2009 and 2012. Bilal then went on to pursue a MS-Project Management from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, which they completed in 2020. Bilal'sfield of study for both degrees was Computer Software Engineering. In addition, they hold a Scrum Fundamentals Certified certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile, which they obtained in November 2016.
