Allegra Markson has a diverse work experience in the field of business development and arts management. Allegra started their career as a Program Assistant at the Arts Management Institute at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in June 2010 and served in this role until July 2011. Allegra then became an Assistant Manager of Dance Programming at the same organization from July 2011 to June 2014. After that, they took on the role of Manager of Dance Programming and Company Manager for The Suzanne Farrell Ballet from July 2014 to July 2015.
In 2016, Allegra Markson joined both Spektrix and The Old Vic. At Spektrix, they initially worked as a Business Development Manager from October 2016 to October 2018. Allegra was then promoted to the position of Senior Business Development Manager from November 2018 to March 2020. Their most recent role at Spektrix is Head of Business Development, which they have held since March 2020.
During their time at The Old Vic, Allegra Markson undertook an MBA Project from July 2016 to September 2016.
Allegra Markson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Service with a concentration in Science, Technology, and International Affairs from Georgetown University in 2009. Allegra then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Creative Arts and Media Management at Cambridge Judge Business School from 2015 to 2016.
