David Hobson

David Hobson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. David is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Spektrix since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at DSG Finance from October 2020 to February 2022. David also has experience as a Full Stack .Net Developer at On the Beach from February 2015 to September 2020, where they focused on MSSQL, C#, and React development. Additionally, David worked as a Contractor at RoBAT Ltd. for a brief period from May 2020 to July 2020. David was also a Software Developer at Junari Ltd from April 2014 to January 2015, specializing in Python and C# development. David has also provided Software Development services as a Contractor at ZEISS Group from June 2013 to January 2014. Before this, they worked as a Software Developer and Web Application Tester at SciVisum Ltd from July 2009 to May 2013. David Hobson completed their PhD in electronic engineering at the University of Kent, specializing in image processing for instrumentation and embedded systems. David has three publications in IEEE conferences. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Web Developer at Odyssey Interactive Ltd from September 2004 to August 2005.

David Hobson completed their education in a chronological order. From 2000 to 2004, they attended The University of Huddersfield, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc(Hons)) in Software Development with Artificial Intelligence. Following that, they pursued further education at the University of Kent from 2005 to 2009, culminating in the successful completion of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they earned the AZ-204 Developing Solutions for Azure certification from Microsoft in February 2023.
