James Wood

Client Success Lead at Spektrix

James Wood has a diverse work experience spanning different sectors. In 2013, they started at the University of Huddersfield, working in catering services for seven months. During the same year, they also worked at Chelsea Football Club in hospitality for nine months. In 2015, Wood joined TransPennine Express as a Revenue Protection Assistant for a year. James also worked at HOOT Creative Arts as a Music Practitioner/Artist and at the University of Huddersfield as a Group Leader for the edges ensemble, both from 2015 to 2017. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as an Engineer to Nitin Sawhney at The Dairy Studios. Their current employment is with Spektrix, where they started as a Support & Training Consultant in 2017 and eventually moved up to the role of Support Team Manager. As of August 2021, they hold the position of Client Support Manager at Spektrix.

James Wood completed their Master's Degree in Music (by Research) at The University of Huddersfield from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a BMus in Creative Music Technology from the same institution, spanning from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, James obtained a certification as a Qualified Mental Health First Aider from Dualism Training Ltd in July 2021.
