Jason Efstathiou

Jason Efstathiou has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jason most recently served as the Director of Engineering at Spektrix starting in February 2019. Prior to that, they held the same position at Blippar from October 2018 to January 2019, where they worked with leading brands in Augmented Reality and Computer Vision.

Before their roles at Spektrix and Blippar, Jason worked at Cloudhouse Technologies Limited from June 2015 to September 2018. During their time there, they served as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Engineering.

In 2015, Jason briefly worked at King as the Flagship Game Lead and Agile Coach, where they led the development of a new flagship game and mentored other game teams in Lean Product Development Techniques.

From July 2013 to January 2015, Jason worked at comparethemarket.com as the Head of Motor Insurance Development. Jason coached and supported various team aspects and introduced mechanisms for team learning and growth, resulting in increased collaboration, communication, and quality.

Earlier in their career, Jason held positions at Harrods as the Interim Head of Technology/E-Commerce from March 2010 to May 2013, at IGT/Barcrest Games as the Head of Platform & Systems from January 2009 to March 2010.

Before that, Jason worked as a Lead/Agile Coach/Consultant at Conchango from April 2007 to November 2008, and had roles at River Island (Conchango) as a Lead Developer from May 2008 to October 2008, and at Tesco Digital (Conchango) as a Senior Consultant from October 2007 to May 2008.

Jason Efstathiou completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Systems Engineering from Middlesex University, from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Barnet College Wood Street from 1992 to 1994, where they studied Electronic Systems. Jason also studied Electronic Systems at Barnet College Wood Street from 1990 to 1992. Jason graduated from Southgate School London in 1990. In terms of additional certifications, Jason obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in May 2018. Jason also obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® certification from the Scrum Alliance in October 2014.
