Akshaya D. is the founder and CEO of Spellbound, a professional community platform for Gen Z. Akshaya dropped out of Stanford to start the company during COVID-19. Akshaya has raised over $3.7M from Alexis Ohanian (776), Tony Xu (Doordash), Harry Stebbings, Forerunner, Pear VC, Matthew Dellavedova, and more.

Previously, Akshaya was an AI TPM at Facebook and a software engineer at Kitty Hawk, where they worked on autonomy and CV landing for Flyer. Akshaya also TA’ed for CS106A and CS106B at Stanford University.

Akshaya is a Garage Fellow at Pear VC and a coach for Major League Hacking. Akshaya is also the founder and executive director of Girls Make Apps.

Akshaya D. has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
