Ida Thomas is a dedicated education professional with experience in various roles within the school counseling and teaching fields. Currently serving as a School Counseling Intern at both Manhattan/Hunter Science High School and P.S. 154 Johnathan D. Hyatt Elementary School, as well as a Literature and Writing Teacher at Prep for Prep, Ida has a robust background that includes a position as a 5th Grade ELA Teacher at Ascend Public Charter Schools and an Associate Teacher for 4th Grade at The Spence School. Ida Thomas holds a Master of Arts in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from New York University, expected in May 2024, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Africana Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Ida is an alumna of The Spence School.
