John Morrison

John Morrison has a diverse background in finance and accounting. John started their career at Deloitte Australia as a Vacation Student in 2011 before joining RSM Australia as an Assistant Manager in 2012. At RSM, they gained experience in audits of various industries and also worked in the internal audit division. In 2015, they joined Netccentric Ltd as the Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary, where they played a key role in restructuring the business and leading the acquisition of performance marketing agencies. John then joined Norwood Systems Ltd in 2015 as Finance Manager and was later promoted to Chief Financial Officer. In this role, they were responsible for all financial operations and reported directly to the board. After leaving Norwood Systems, John worked as an Advisor at Grange Consulting Group Pty Ltd before joining Elderton Group as a Senior Manager in 2017. In 2019, they became the Financial Controller at Early Start Australia before taking on their current role as the Group Financial Controller at Spenda in 2021.

John Morrison's education history begins with their attendance at John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School from 2006 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Curtin University from 2009 to 2011, with a focus in Accounting and Finance. Finally, from 2012 to 2014, John obtained the designation of Chartered Accountant from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
