Marc Smith is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in DevOps, data engineering, and database management. Currently serving as the DevOps & Database Infrastructure Manager at SpendHQ since May 2022, Marc leads teams focused on DevOps, data engineering, and security. As the Principal Cloud Architect at Georgia Cloud Solutions, Marc founded the company and mentors consultants, delivering cost-effective cloud solutions. Previous roles include Data Architect at PeopleScout, where Marc led contractor teams in agile product development, and various positions at IgnitionOne, where responsibilities included architecting scalable database solutions and managing large data sets. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Middle Georgia State University.
