James Pieper

James Pieper is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in chief financial officer roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Sphera since November 2021, James previously held key positions at TransUnion, where responsibilities included overseeing the CFO role for the U.S. Markets division, which generated $1.7 billion in annual revenue, and leading Corporate FP&A and Tax post-IPO. Prior to TransUnion, James served as Chief Accounting Officer at CME Group, managing significant M&A activities totaling $20 billion. Earlier career experience includes roles at Divine Interventures, Platinum Technology, and KPMG, culminating in over a decade of expertise in financial oversight and accounting.
