Ru Wang has worked in a number of roles since 2014. In that year, they were a Project Manager/QMS and Treasury Auditor at Chimie Perspectives. In 2015, they completed an internship at Givaudan Fragrances in the Fabric Care Application Laboratory. In 2016, they were a Research Intern at CSIRO on Metal Organic Frameworks, where they were the second author of a paper published in Chem. Commun. In 2017, they were a Graduate Researcher at Cambridge Analytical Biotechnology (CABs)- Hall Laboratory - University of Cambridge and also completed a Consulting project at Johnson Matthey. In 2021, they were a Medical i-Teams at i-Teams, and in 2022 they are currently an Engineer at Sphere Fluidics Limited.
Ru Wang has a comprehensive education history. From 2009 to 2012, they attended Lycée Henri IV and obtained their Baccalauréat Scientifique. From 2012 to 2014, they attended Lycée Saint-Louis and studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. From 2014 to 2017, they attended Chimie ParisTech - PSL and obtained a double degree in Engineer and Master of Science in Chemistry. From 2016 to 2017, they attended University of Cambridge and obtained their Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Advanced Chemical Engineering. Finally, from 2017 to 2022, they are attending University of Cambridge to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. In addition, Ru Wang has obtained certifications in Machine Learning, Applied AI with DeepLearning, and Crash Course on Python from Coursera in 2020.
