William Young has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. William began their career as an Assistant Water Safety Manager at Medical & Water Safety Limited. In 2013, they took on a Student Placement Analyst role at Bard Pharmaceuticals Limited and then became a STEM Ambassador for STEMNET. In 2015, they returned to Bard Pharmaceuticals Limited as an Associate Analyst. In 2016, they joined Cambridge '99 Rowing Club as an Athlete and Water Safety Officer. In 2018, they joined Sphere Fluidics Limited as Head of Manufacturing and Scientist. In July of the same year, they also took on the role of Boat House Manager and Vice Men's Captain for the Cambridge 99s Rowing Club.
William Young obtained a Master's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Reading between 2011 and 2015. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Time Management (6.5 CPD Hours) from Cambridge Network Ltd in March 2019, Laboratory Safety (2 Day IOSH Approved Course) from Health & Safety Works Ltd in November 2018, Compressed Gas, Cryogenic Gases and Gas Equpiment safety Training (EAL approved course) from Proactive Gas Safety Ltd in September 2018, First Aid at Work from St Johns Ambulance in September 2018, and a Full UK Driving Licence from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).
