Daniel Powley has worked as a Software Engineer at SphereCommerce, LLC since March 2022. Before that, they worked at Leidos from March 2020 to March 2022 as a Software Engineer, where they were part of a small Agile development team working on a checked baggage scanner project. Daniel interned at Leidos from June 2018 to December 2019 as a Software Integration Engineering Intern. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft from May 2011 to June 2018 as a Technical Advisor, leading teams, handling computer repairs, and providing software support.
Daniel Powley has a strong educational background in both computer science and graphic design/multimedia production. Daniel obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Florida State University from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended California State University, Northridge from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design/Multimedia Production.
Additionally, Daniel has acquired several certifications to supplement their education. In 2011, they obtained the MCTS 070-625 certification from Microsoft. More recently, in August 2021, they acquired the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In December of 2021, they also earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification, also from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
