Mark Funk

Mark Funk has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mark currently works as the Director of Carrier Procurement at SPI Logistics, a position they started in 2022. Before that, they worked at R+L Global Logistics as the Director of Capacity Procurement from 2019 to 2022. In this role, they developed corporate logistics solutions and provided executive leadership to a team of logistics professionals. Prior to that, Mark was the Vice President of Call Center Operations at Secure Transportation Company, Inc. from 2017 to 2019, overseeing the organization's contact centers and collaborating with suppliers. From 2007 to 2017, they held multiple roles at Total Quality Logistics, including Director of Carrier Operations and Carrier Services Director. At Total Quality Logistics, Mark was responsible for strategic solutions, supplier engagement, contract management, and more. Before that, they worked at Sara Lee Foods as the Supply Chain Administrations Manager from 2001 to 2007, overseeing various supply chain functions. Lastly, Mark worked at SST Bearing Corporation as the Quality System Manager from 1998 to 2001, where they managed the ISO-9001 Quality System and handled supplier procurement.

Mark Funk obtained an Associate's Degree in Management from Thomas More University from 2003 to 2005, followed by a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the same institution from 2005 to 2008.
