Mitchell Simmons

Mitchell Simmons, PMP, currently serves as the Regional Construction Manager at Spicer Group since December 2025. Prior to this role, Mitchell held the position of Department Manager of Construction Services at Somat Engineering, Inc., overseeing operations in Michigan and Ohio, and managing projects related to public infrastructure inspection and materials testing. With significant experience in the US Army, Mitchell served as a Company Commander, responsible for leading a 60-soldier team in technical training, asset management, and personnel development. Mitchell's educational background includes a Master of Science in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife, Fish and Wildlands Science and Management from Michigan State University.
