The American Association of Orthodontists recommends every child have their first orthodontic screening by age 7, or before if problems are indicated. Most patients do not require treatment at this age, however, if treatment will be needed, Dr. Spillers and Dr. Gordon are able to determine the best time to begin the necessary treatment.
