Laurel Roney

Laurel Roney has a strong background in quality assurance and compliance, with extensive experience in the toy industry. Laurel is currently serving as the VP of Toy Safety, Compliance, and Quality at Spin Master, a position they have held since March 2023. Previously, they worked as the Director of QA and Compliance at JMW Sales, Inc. from July 2020 to March 2023. Prior to that, Laurel was the Director of Product Integrity at Swimways Corporation, a subsidiary of Spin Master, where they managed the company's global compliance program from August 2014 to June 2020. Laurel also worked at Manhattan Group, LLC as the Manager of Quality Assurance, Technical Development, and Forecasting from July 2006 to July 2014, and at Mosquito as the Director of International Sourcing from May 2005 to June 2006.

Laurel Roney attended Saint Louis University in 2015, where they studied Advanced Product Safety Management. From 1992 to 1996, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mass Communications/Public Relations at Winona State University.
