Robert Struble

Robert Struble is an investor and board member at Spin Technology. Robert was previously the CEO of Directed from March 2017 to July 2020. Robert was hired by private equity owners Charlesbank to lead a strategic pivot at Directed. Struble orchestrated Directed's entry into the IoT space, building out back end system and successfully marketing offering to new B-to-B customers including large auto OEMs. Robert acquired Alcohol Detection Systems, positioning Directed in the fast growing and attractive Ignition Interlock Device market. Struble rebuilt executive team to execute against new strategy, attracting new CFO, GC, GM Ignition Interlock, and VP Engineering. Robert Drove company cultural change to urgency and leadership. Aggressively cut operating and product costs to address market trends and manage through Covid crisis. Successfully sold businesses in July 2020, achieving target valuations.

Robert Struble has a MBA from Harvard Business School and a SB from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Robert majored in Chemical Engineering.
