Nigel McGrath

Nigel McGrath is a prominent figure in the visual effects industry, serving as CEO, Founder, and Managing Partner of Spin VFX since 1987, originally established as Side Effects Productions. McGrath co-founded Alias Research in 1984, where Nigel held the roles of Founder, President, and Chairman until 1988. Additionally, McGrath founded and presided over McGrath & Associates from 1980 to 1994, specializing in film VFX and corporate communications. As President and CEO of Waubuno Corporation since 1990, McGrath focuses on investment portfolio and film finance. Since 1994, McGrath has been a partner at Triangle Post, further contributing to the industry’s evolution. His extensive experience encompasses various roles in animation and motion graphics, including an Art Director position at Trickett Productions from 1972 to 1979.
