Sev Sandomirsky

Lead Mechanical Engineer/Program Manager, Satellite Systems at SpinLaunch

Sev Sandomirsky is a Mechanical Engineer with experience in satellite systems, inductive proximity sensors, switches, remote data concentrators, and various electronics units. Sev began their career in 2015 as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Washington, where they designed and conducted experiments related to pressure and temperature-sensitive microbeads. In 2017, they joined the University of Washington Hyperloop team as a Rocket Propulsion Engineer, where they were involved in the design and production of the external composite fairing, chassis, and other composite parts. In 2018, they began working at Crane Aerospace & Electronics as a Mechanical Engineer I and II, where they provided mechanical design engineering and manufacturing support for Sensing and Power Systems value streams. Sev also served as Project Director for a Boeing-sponsored Capstone Project, leading a team of 8 undergraduate students in Aeronautics & Astronautics and Electrical Engineering in the whitepaper design of a STOL Hybrid-Electric Air Taxi. Most recently, in 2021, they joined SpinLaunch as a Mechanical Engineer, Satellite Systems.

Sev Sandomirsky attended the University of Washington from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. In 2017, they also attended the Groupement des écoles d'aéronautique (ENAC, ISAE-SUPAERO, ISAE-ENSMA) for a course in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General.
