Lamar Heller

Lamar Heller has over 25 years of experience in various IT leadership roles. Lamar is currently working as the Corporate IT Director at SPINS since 2020. Prior to this, Lamar worked at Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants as the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications from 2015 to 2020, where they were responsible for strategic direction and tactical delivery of technology platforms. Before that, they served as Sr. Program Director at Walgreens from 2011 to 2015, leading IT Customer Care Transformation Initiatives. Lamar also has experience as the CIO and Technology Advisor at FlexC3, Senior Director of IT at Dobson Communications, Chief Information Officer at ChaseCom, LLP, Senior Solutions Consultant at BusinessEdge Solutions, and Billing and Telecom Director at MetroCall. Throughout their career, Lamar has demonstrated expertise in enterprise applications, technology strategy, project management, and team leadership.

Lamar Heller has a double BA in Information Systems and Accounting from the University of West Florida, which they obtained from 1984 to 1989. In addition to their degree, Lamar has obtained several certifications. In May 2021, they received a certification in Game Design Foundations: 1 Ideas, Core Loops, and Goals from LinkedIn. Then, in April 2020, they earned a certification in Enterprise Architecture Foundations from LinkedIn. In the same year, they obtained multiple certifications related to information security and collaboration, including CompTIA Security+ (SY0-501) Cert Prep, Microsoft Collaboration: SharePoint, Teams, and Groups, Team Collaboration in Office 365, Implementing an Information Security Program, Cert Prep: CompTIA Security+ Exam (SY0-501): The Basics, and IT Security Foundations: Core Concepts, all from LinkedIn. Lastly, in July 2023, Lamar completed certifications in Business Writing and Introduction to Generative AI from Coursera.
