Bernard DIENY

Bernard Dieny is the Chief Scientist at SPINTEC, where they focus on spintronics technology and magnetic applications in biotechnology and biomedical fields. Prior to this role, they were the Head of the Nanostructure and Magnetism lab at CEA Grenoble from 1996 to 2001 and served as a Deputy head from 1992 to 1995. Bernard also gained experience as a Visiting Scientist at both the Centre for Magnetic Recording Research and IBM, contributing to pioneering research in magnetic tunnel junctions and low field magnetic sensors. They hold an Agrégation de Physique from Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan and a PhD in Physics/Magnetism from Grenoble Alpes University, along with an Habilitation à diriger des thèses from the same institution.
