Michael Walker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in network engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as Lead Network Engineer at Spire since April 2016, Michael has previously held the positions of Network Engineer III and Network Engineer II within the same company. In addition to technical expertise, Michael contributes to local governance as a City Council Member for the City of Pinson since August 2020. Prior to these roles, Michael's career includes significant positions at Alabama Gas Corporation and Energen Corp as a Network Applications Specialist, as well as experience in design and consulting for data and voice networks at Digital Network Associates. Michael's background also encompasses systems engineering at Digital Connections, Inc. and GE Capital IT Solutions, along with military service as an Artillery Cannon Crewman in the U.S. Marines. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Leadership from The University of Arizona Global Campus, Michael’s educational foundation includes an Associate degree in Electronics and Computers.
