Daniel Polo

Daniel Polo's work experience is as follows:

From September 2023 onwards, Daniel is a Senior Spacecraft Operations Engineer and Launch and Early Orbit Lead at Spire. Prior to this, they worked as a Spacecraft Operations Engineer at the same company from March 2021 to October 2023.

From January 2020 to February 2021, Daniel worked as a Satellite Operations Specialist at ICEYE. Daniel also held the position of Junior Satellite Operations Specialist at ICEYE from July 2019 to January 2020.

From February 2019 to July 2019, Daniel worked as a Junior Consultant at Altran R&D Space.

Daniel had previous experience at ACNUR Comité español, where they were a Team Lead from August 2016 to May 2017, and also worked in membership recruitment from March 2016 to August 2016.

Daniel Polo completed a degree in Aerospace and Aeronautical/Space Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2014 to 2018. Daniel then pursued additional coursework in Aerospace Engineering at Technische Universität Berlin in 2018. In 2019, they completed an Advanced Programme in Big Data Visualization from Fundación Telefónica. Most recently, in 2022, they participated in a program on Architecture and Systems Engineering: Models and Methods to Manage Complex Systems from MIT xPRO. Daniel also holds several certifications, including one in Architecture of Complex Systems from MIT xPRO, a Linux Essentials Certificate from the Linux Professional Institute, an STK Certification Level 1 from AGI (Analytical Graphics, Inc.), and a Python para Aeronáuticos certification from AeroPython.
