Mohammed Belal is a Programme Director for Microwave Technologies at Spire, where they develop innovative satellite payloads aimed at enhancing weather forecasting capabilities for a climate-resilient planet. They co-founded Celestial Eye, focusing on global weather insights through proprietary sensors on micro satellites, and previously served as a Co-Founder and Business Development Director at MIRICO, which specializes in gas sensing technology. With experience as an Enterprise Fellow at both STFC and the Royal Society of Edinburgh, Mohammed's educational background includes an MEng in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London and an Executive Education in High Performance Leadership from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. They are also an SME Leaders Fellow at the Royal Academy of Engineering.
