Peter Guthrie

Peter Guthrie is an experienced engineer specializing in systems and network management, currently serving as a Ground Station Network Engineer at Spire Global, Inc since August 2015. In this role, Peter manages Linux systems and develops open-source DevOps tools to support a global network of satellite ground stations. Prior to this position, Peter worked at Oracle Corporation as a Solution Architect in the Cloud Technology Group, where development of a private cloud IaaS platform took place, and held various engineering roles at Sun Microsystems, including Benchmark Engineer and Customer Ready Systems Engineer, focusing on optimizing solutions for customer performance. Earlier experience includes a role as a Project Engineer at Agilent Technologies and an R&D Engineer at Hewlett Packard.
