Ross Aitken

Ross Aitken is an accomplished Mechanical Engineering Manager at Spire since November 2018, overseeing multiple engineering teams and responsible for technical direction, team development, and project management. Aitken's expertise includes leading mechanical engineering efforts on various satellite missions and systems, as well as promoting process improvements and supplier quality. Previously, Aitken held leadership and engineering roles at KPS, Rainbow Technology Systems, Equalizer International Limited, Fearsome, and Star Refrigeration, demonstrating a strong background in mechanical design, analysis, and team management. Aitken holds an MEng degree in Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and participated in an Erasmus program in Mechanical Engineering at Luleå University of Technology.
