Somya Sharma

Somya Sharma is a skilled spacecraft software engineer at Spire since September 2019. Prior to this role, Somya worked as a staff engineer at Qualcomm, focusing on 11ax physical layer development from December 2016 to July 2019. Somya also served as a senior software design engineer at Imagination Technologies, leading the physical layer algorithm development team and overseeing research and development of baseband algorithms for 802 from November 2010 to November 2016. Somya began the career as a senior DSP design engineer at VirtualWire Technologies from July 2007 to October 2010. Somya holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, completed between 2005 and 2007.
