Sumit Karki

Sumit Karki is a seasoned RF Engineer with extensive experience in spacecraft and aerospace engineering. Currently serving as a Senior RF Engineer at Spire since March 2022, Sumit previously held roles as a Spacecraft RF Engineer at Aerospacelab and an Antenna Researcher at Université catholique de Louvain, where significant contributions were made in RF and antenna products design, frequency allocation, and communication standards. Sumit possesses a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Université catholique de Louvain, as well as multiple master's degrees in Microwave and RF Circuits and Systems. Early career experience includes a position as a Teaching Assistant at Kathmandu University, where assistance was provided in communications courses and laboratory works.
