Phil Nolan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Phil is currently working as a User Experience Lead at Spirent Communications since November 2022. Before that, Phil worked as a User Experience Researcher at Play Sports Network from July 2019 to June 2021. Phil also had a role as a Consultant Digital Product Designer at the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts for a brief period from March 2019 to July 2019.
Earlier in their career, they held the position of Senior Digital Product Designer at EUMETSAT from January 2014 to March 2019. Phil also has experience as a Consultant Digital Experience Professional, where they worked from April 2003 to December 2013.
Starting their career at Abbey in 1992, Phil initially served as a Service Support Analyst from August 1992 to February 1995. Phil then transitioned to the role of Information Designer from February 1995 to May 2000, where they were responsible for designing, coding, and writing content for the bank's websites and intranet. Phil later became the Creative Services Manager at Abbey from May 2000 to April 2003, overseeing various creative projects.
Phil Nolan attended Stantonbury Campus from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained a Secondary Education degree with a focus on O-level Mathematics, English, Physical Science, Environmental Science, Humanities, Drama, and German. Phil then continued their education at Stantonbury Campus from 1986 to 1988, earning a Higher Education degree in A-Level English Literature, Computer Science, and Theatre Studies. In addition to their academic qualifications, Phil also obtained various certifications, including the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from the Project Management Institute in 2019, a Nano Degree in Data Analysis from Udacity in 2017, the Adobe Certified Expert - Web Specialist certification from Adobe in 2006, the Adobe Certified Expert - Flash Professional certification from Adobe in 2003, and the Certified Macromedia Flash Developer certification from Macromedia, Inc. in 1999.
