Ron Cook

Ron Cook is a seasoned engineering professional with a strong background in semiconductor and telecommunications. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Spirent Communications since December 2021, Ron has previously co-founded octoScope and held the position of VP of Engineering, along with serving as Principal Consulting Engineer. Experience also includes roles as Director of System Application Engineering at BitWave Semiconductor, where Ron led the development of reference designs for various wireless standards, and Director of Systems Engineering at Engim, directing development for multi-channel wireless designs. Prior positions include R&D Manager at Agilent Technologies and R&D Project Manager at HP, with early career experience as a Design Engineer at Scope Communications Inc. Ron holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
