Prior to this, Simon served as an Applications Engineer, providing customer support for global positioning systems and simulators, contributing to Spirent's status as a market leader in GNSS simulation. Simon's military background includes a distinguished career in the British Army, where Simon held various ranks, including Regimental Sergeant Major and was directly involved in training, discipline, and communication system installations within the Royal Corps of Signals. Simon Lithgow's education includes training at the Royal School of Signals, Cable Technical Training Services, and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, alongside membership in the Royal Institute of Navigation.
