Daniel Thibault has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Daniel'smost recent position is as a Digital Solution Specialist at Spiria since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Esri from 2015 to 2021, initially as a Senior Product Engineer - Location Analytics, and later as a Senior Product Engineer - Geodatabase/Utility Network. In these roles, they were responsible for tasks such as designing and automating tests, analyzing and testing new functionality, and documenting APIs and writing blogs.

Before joining Esri, Daniel worked at Hydro Québec from 2008 to 2015, starting as a Functional Analyst, GIS, and later assuming the role of Team Leader & GIS Specialist. Prior to that, they worked at VEDA Solutions as an IT Team Leader & Project Manager, GIS from 2004 to 2008.

Daniel's earlier work experience includes roles such as Lecturer, Multimedia & IT at Cégep Gérald-Godin from 2002 to 2004, System Architect, Call Centre at Informatique OKA from 2002 to 2003, and System Engineer, Call Centre at Nortel Networks from 1998 to 2001.

Daniel Thibault has a diverse education history. Daniel began their educational journey at Cégep de l'Outaouais, where they obtained a College degree in Science from 1991 to 1993. Daniel then continued their studies at the Université de Sherbrooke, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from 1993 to 1997.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Daniel pursued a higher level of education at École de technologie supérieure. Daniel obtained a Master's degree in Technologie de l'information, which was completed from 2000 to 2003.

Daniel's educational pursuits did not stop there. Daniel went on to enroll at the Université de Sherbrooke once again, this time to pursue an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Management. Daniel successfully completed this program from 2010 to 2012.

In addition to their academic achievements, Daniel Thibault also obtained an Engineering Permit from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec in May 2000. This certification further demonstrates their expertise and qualifications in the field of engineering.
