In today’s high-stress world, people need more than coping skills — they need connection. At Spirit Cove, we bring calm and comfort through gentle Newfoundland therapy dogs who meet people where they are — in hospitals, schools, disaster zones, and first responder units.

Our mission is to ease emotional overload and isolation before it becomes depression, burnout, substance misuse, or suicide. Whether comforting youth, teachers, first responders, healthcare workers, veterans, or trauma survivors, our Newfie Therapy Teams create pop-up moments of peace, presence, and hope wherever they go.

Now, we’re building the Spirit Cove Ranch near Asheville, North Carolina, a sanctuary where healing truly has paws and hooves. Here, magnificent Newfoundland dogs will be joined by kindhearted Gypsy Vanner horses, as we rescue, train, and deploy animals to help people heal — one gentle encounter at a time.
