Patrick Leimkuehler

Patrick Leimkuehler is the Chief Operating Officer at Splash Financial. Patrick has also served as the CEO of Apollo Medical Devices and as a consultant for Freelance Consultant and AlixPartners.

Patrick Leimkuehler has over 10 years of experience in the consulting industry. Patrick began their career as a Senior Consultant at FTI Consulting in 2008. Patrick then moved to AlixPartners, where they served as an Associate from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they left AlixPartners to work as a freelance consultant. Patrick then became the CEO of Apollo Medical Devices in October 2014. Patrick served in this role until October 2016.

At Apollo Medical Devices, Patrick Leimkuehler oversaw the development of a rapid blood testing technology that could return results in five minutes with just a single drop of blood. The cost-effective, proprietary platform technology was being developed to safely and effectively provide patient blood chemistry test results via a portable analyzer at the patient’s bedside. Apollo’s technology relied on an optical sensing utilizing highly sensitive compounds for signal transduction. The Apollo analyzer and proprietary software was being developed as a robust platform imaging system and produced higher quality images than a professional digital camera for a fraction the cost. Apollo’s proven sensing technology had been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals.

In October 2016, Patrick Leimkuehler left Apollo Medical Devices to become the Chief Operating Officer at Splash Financial. In this role, they are responsible for Splash Financial’s day-to-day operations, including customer support, product development, and finance.

Patrick Leimkuehler has a BA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business and certification from the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors as a Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor.

Their manager is Steven Muszynski, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Jeff Walker - VP of Talent, Michael Boyle - VP, Head of Sales and Capital Markets, and Tej Brar - Chief Technology and Product Officer.
