Ryan Thomas

Ryan Thomas is a seasoned Director of Photography with extensive experience in both freelance and corporate environments, working on a variety of projects including commercials, branded content, narrative films, and documentaries. Since September 2007, Ryan has been self-employed, contributing to significant projects for companies such as Viacom, Splice, Fullscreen, and NVIDIA. Noteworthy achievements include creating branded content for Comedy Central and producing a series for Facebook Watch. Additionally, Ryan is a joint owner of Bolt Lighting Rental in the San Francisco Bay Area, where an innovative tool, The Milk Crate Divider, was developed for use in studio and equipment environments. Prior experience includes roles as a lighting technician with IATSE Local 728, collaborating with esteemed cinematographers. Ryan's educational background includes training at the San Francisco Film School.
