Tanel Valtson

Tanel Valtson is the Chief Officer at TS Laevad OÜ, a position they have held since 2020. Previously, Tanel worked as a 2nd Officer and 3rd Officer at Spliethoff, where responsibilities included voyage planning and safety of navigation. They also served as a Technical Specialist/Officer of Watch at TS Laevad OÜ, contributing to the construction of new ferries and sailing three of them to Estonia. Tanel's earlier experience includes managing a workshop for life-raft maintenance at VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S. They earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Navigation Officer from the Estonian Maritime Academy between 2007 and 2012.
