Bob Binion

Bob Binion has a diverse work experience in the software and technology industry. Bob is currently working at Splinterlands as an engineer since March 2021. Prior to this, they founded their own company, Bob Binion Consulting, LLC, where they served as a software and technology consultant starting from January 2020. Bob also worked as a software and technology consultant at Phenom People from February 2020 to March 2021.

Before their consulting roles, Bob held the position of Vice President of Analytics and Architecture at Monetate, Inc. from January 2019 to December 2019. Bob served as the ThingWorx Chief Architect and Software Development SVP at PTC from July 2015 to November 2018. Prior to that, they were the Vice President and Chief Architect at ThingWorx, a PTC Business, from March 2014 to July 2015.

Earlier in their career, Bob worked at Comcast as a Solutions Architect from September 2013 to March 2014. Bob also served as the Lead Architect at Iron Mountain, where they designed and architected Iron Mountain's next-generation customer-facing web application and customer portal. Bob was responsible for the development of a modern single-page application, a distributed web service architecture, and a multi-cloud Solr/Lucene infrastructure. Bob worked at Iron Mountain from October 2009 to September 2013.

Prior to Iron Mountain, Bob was the Principal Architect at Trueposition from July 2003 to October 2009.

Bob Binion completed their education from 1994 to 1996 at Penn State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Additionally, they have a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance. The exact month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
