Game Designer at Splinterlands

Simon Zhang has a diverse work experience, starting in 2016 when they worked as a Residential and Commercial Cleaner at Bizzi Beez. In 2017, they transitioned into the cryptocurrency field, becoming a Cryptocurrency Trader and Investor, specializing in decentralized liquidity pools and lending protocols. Simon also invested in early-stage DeFi and Web3 Gaming projects. In 2019, Simon joined ANZ as a Small Business Banking Consultant, where they worked until 2021. Simultaneously, they took on roles at Splinterlands as a Game Designer and Advisor. In 2022, Simon founded Aqualis DAO, a DeFi protocol that aims to integrate trading and lending liquidity pools. Currently, Aqualis is in the testing phase and is also developing other DeFi products and infrastructure, such as a decentralized escrow service and a vesting as a service platform.

Simon Zhang attended Monash University from 2018 to 2021, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce and Computer Science degree. Simon specialized in Finance and Data Science during their studies.
